Anti Pleasure

I find this hilarious that Stephen Harper still has not met with Obama himself. But in fact, Canadian officials have met with Obama to discuss the economic crisis. According to the Edmonton Sun, Stephen Harper met with George Bush last night over dinner. Such a great idea considering Georgey the monkey started a huge mess.

I won’t go into far detail with this post today. I just thought I would mention it.  

Harper states, “I think the worst possible thing we could do at this particular time would be to follow the problems we’re having in the economy with a series of measures that closed our economies or began to throw up protectionist trade barriers,” Harper said.

“I think that would be a devastating mistake. It would really repeat the errors of the 1930s.”

Well, the way the world is heading, we are probably just spiraling backwards. Of COUUUUURSE we know the most important thing right now is the economy, I just wonder how Harper is going to cooperate with Obama. We’ll see once Obama actually becomes president in January or so.

Can’t see Harper giving him the time of day, just his good pal Bushie! We will see how things go though I guess in the next few years.

When it comes to Stephen Harper, all I can say is, UGH!
