NDP, hopeful

I will point out that not every day I will get into political issues. But I feel these subjects need to be addressed because I am sure a lot of people are feeling very… democratic!

I can just imagine how ecstatic Jack Layton was when Obama won presidency! Here is hoping that our prime minister will work with the newly elected president… considering he is conservative and very chummy with Bush’s “ideas.” Jack Layton stated from his website, “I watched the results of the US election last night with anxious anticipation and proudly celebrated this historic election.”

I, like Jack Layton and many other New Democratic Supporters believe that we share similar views with the US Democrats on the environment and trade, of course. Although, we cannot promise that Stephen Harper will actually work closely with Obama due to the fact that many views are very different from each other. I just hope in the future that more Canadians will do some research and see how beneficial NDP government is, just look at the states right now. :D I feel like this is a very uplifting week and I am very positive too.

Anyone that wants to know more about the NDP, I would suggest keeping up with Jack Layton’s website http://www.ndp.ca he always has very interesting facts about NDP, conservative, liberal, the green party etc. and keeps you very up to date on where Canada stands. I won’t get into detail about the plan that NDP has structured, but here is also a link if you ever want to read over the ideas,

So, all that I can really say right now is that I hope Canada will render their thoughts of sticking to JUST conservatism… it is only causing too much pollution and I believe it is not BY the people and FOR the people. I am worried about Canada, that’s for sure.
